About the job

As a communicator, you will work on developing and implementing communication initiatives focused on knowledge dissemination. Your work will include producing, tailoring, and publishing content. You will also be the editor for MTM's learning platform.

The work is carried out in collaboration with the communication team and in close cooperation with the knowledge and analysis team.

As a communicator, you will be part of the unit for External Relations and Collaboration. We currently have 16 colleagues in the unit.

The office is located in Malmö with the possibility of some remote work.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A university or college degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in journalism.
  • Relevant work experience as a communicator or editor.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Relevant work experience with MTM's target groups.
  • Relevant work experience in the field of accessible reading and/or disability policy issues or other closely related areas deemed relevant, such as gender equality or human rights.
  • Experience in communication work within a government agency.
  • Experience in content production.
  • Experience in writing texts such as interviews, website content, editorial texts such as newsletters.
  • Experience from the book, publishing industry, or library operations.

Meritorious

  • Very good project management skills for communication initiatives
  • Very good writing skills, able to write tailored, engaging, and comprehensible content
  • Very good ability to produce content in various formats and from start to finish

You should also:

  • Be able to see and consider a holistic perspective. Be able to see your own role while also considering the best interests of the entire organization in actions and decisions.
  • Have good collaboration skills and be responsive to your colleagues to collectively achieve common goals.
  • Have a good understanding of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge and adapt your way of conveying messages to the recipient.
  • Take initiative and plan and drive the work forward to achieve results.

About the employment

The employment is temporary for six months. MTM applies individual salary setting. Start date as soon as possible by agreement.
